Warranty Period

The 12-month warranty runs from the date of purchase. Warranty coverage is non-transferable — it applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase (invoice) is required to process any warranty claim.

Tip: Keep your invoice and maintenance records. Regular servicing and maintenance records help us assess warranty claims faster and can extend the life of your equipment.

Extended & Special Warranties

We offer optional extended warranty coverage beyond the standard 12-month period. Contact our sales team to discuss extended warranty options for your specific attachment or trailer, including coverage terms and pricing.

Questions

Warranty FAQ

Does my warranty cover normal wear and tear?
No. Warranty covers manufacturing defects and material failures. Normal wear items like hoses, seals, wear plates, and bucket teeth are consumables and covered under maintenance, not warranty.
When does my warranty start and end?
Your 12-month warranty begins on the date of purchase (shown on your invoice). Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original buyer.
Can I extend my warranty after purchase?
Yes. Extended warranty coverage is available beyond the standard 12 months. Contact our sales team at 0420 127 534 to discuss options and pricing.
What if I lose my invoice?
Keep your original purchase invoice as proof of warranty eligibility. If you've lost it, contact us with your order details and we may be able to look up your purchase record in our system.
Can I repair my equipment myself and claim warranty?
Warranty covers factory repairs performed by Bodycoat. Third-party repairs not pre-approved by us may void your warranty. Always contact us first if you suspect a defect.
How long does a warranty claim typically take?
Assessment usually takes 3–5 business days. Once approved, repairs typically take 1–2 weeks depending on availability of parts and complexity of the issue.
Do you cover damage from an accident or impact?
No. Warranty covers manufacturing defects only, not damage from accidents, collisions, drops, or impact events. This type of damage is typically covered under your own insurance if you have equipment coverage.
What if I modify my attachment?
Unauthorized modifications void your warranty. If you're considering any modifications, contact us first to discuss feasibility and warranty implications.
