Description
The SIMEX TF 800 is a hydraulic cutter wheel built for 6-12 tonne excavators, designed for precision trenching and cutting through hard rock, asphalt and compacted ground where a conventional bucket or breaker is impractical. Its rotating cutter drum allows narrow, accurately controlled trenches to be cut for pipelines, cabling and drainage works, including in confined urban and utility environments.
Manufactured by SIMEX in Italy, the TF 800 mounts to a 6-12 tonne excavator via a standard pin-on connection and is driven by the machine’s auxiliary hydraulic circuit, giving the operator fine control over cutting depth and trench width. At 1,100 kg, it is engineered for utility installation, pipeline works, rock trenching and site preparation where minimal ground disturbance and precise trench dimensions are required.
Each TF 800 is supplied new with a 12-month warranty and backed by SIMEX’s international parts and service network. It is well suited to utility contractors, pipeline installers and civil works companies running 6-12 tonne excavators on rock or hard ground trenching projects.
